The BackX is a passive exoskeleton (i.e. it does not require any electronics or battery), <br>
designed to reduce the load on the lumbar spine during dynamic lifting and bending movements
significantly. <br>

• Relief of the lower back<br>
The system reduces the load in the L5/S1 range by an average of 60% when lifting and can compensate for loads up to 13 kg. <br>
• The device automatically detects when support is needed (e.g. when bending over) and when not (e.g. when walking) through a mechanical sensor mechanism. When walking, it switches itself off – for maximum freedom of movement. <br>
• Easy and quick to put on and take off<br>
Weighing only about 3 kg, the BackX can be put on or taken off in less than 30 seconds.
